Course Description

“Making of the Modern World” is a historical survey of the twentieth century. It aims to give students a better understanding of the world we live in today by introducing them to the ideas, people, and events that  shaped it. This course begins in Europe and then moves on to cover Asia, Africa, and the Americas, providing a nuanced and global perspective of major social, cultural, and political changes.
