AMS Journals: Home

The American Mathematical Society (AMS), founded in 1888, has been dedicated to promoting the development and application of mathematical research worldwide and serving mathematics education. AMS publications include Mathematical Reviews, various professional journals, and books.

Library subscribes to 9 journals in this database, including 6 published by American Mathematical Society, 2 cover-to-cover translation into English published by Russian Academy of Sciences, and 1 that contains translations into English of expository articles from the journal Sugaku, published by Iwanami Shoten, publishers for the Mathematical Society of Japan.

AMS electronic journals are mainly divided into four categories: research journals, member journals, translation journals, and agent journals, totaling more than 20 journals. AMS provides high-quality mathematical research journals, including group electronic journals, non-group electronic journals, and open-access journals. Each journal undergoes peer review, and over 70% of the journals have SCI impact factors.

From the published journals, AMS selects nine high-subscription and high-quality electronic journals as part of the group electronic journal package. These journals cover five core journals published by AMS itself, as well as four translated journals from the Moscow Mathematical Society, the Russian Academy of Sciences, Kyiv University, and the Japan Mathematical Society. The Journal of the American Mathematical Society, one of the "Big Four" journals in the field of mathematics, ranks in the top one-thousandth among mathematics journals.
