Course Description

This course addresses psychometrical and practical issues of testing. The psychometrical part introduces measurement theories with a focus on classical test theory and related issues such as reliability, validity, and test analysis. Generalizability theory and item response theory may also be introduced with a focus on practical applications. The practical issues of testing include the use and interpretations of psychological tests in different settings, including educational, clinical, and organizational settings.
