The relevant issues included economic growth and business cycles, inflation and employment, interest rates and exchange rates, government policies and international interactions. A good understanding of macroeconomics can guide the government set appropriate policies and help businesses estimate the business environment. It also provides individuals a good sense of citizenry. This course covers the main concepts and ideas in macroeconomics and relates them to current affairs in the major economies.
