Since its establishment a decade ago, the Library of CUHK-Shenzhen has remained dedicated to providing comprehensive user services. These services primarily encompass borrowing physical documents, navigating basic electronic resources, offering basic user consultations, managing physical resources and spaces, providing technical support, and overseeing bookshelf management. These core functions serve as a vital bridge between the Library and its users. As time progresses and technology advances, the Library's fundamental services have undergone a series of innovative and optimized changes. We prioritize our users and continuously explore ways to meet their ever-growing information needs better. Our unwavering goal is to create a comfortable, efficient, diverse learning, research, and communication space.

全面优化借阅流程，为读者创造更便捷的服务体验

Enhancing the Borrowing Process: Creating a Convenient Service Experience for Library Users

图书馆在日常服务读者的过程中，持续改进和简化借阅流程。除了传统的现场借阅，还逐步推出馆际互借服务和预约取书服务。其中，在2019年，图书馆进一步优化了预约取书服务，在已有的在借状态图书预约服务之上，增设了可预约在架图书的服务。这些改进措施确保读者提出需求后，能够在一个工作日内得到回复，极大地节省了他们宝贵的时间。图书馆致力于打造一个灵活且人性化的借阅环境，让每位读者都能享受高效和便捷的服务。

In our daily commitment to serving library users, we strive to improve and continuously simplify the borrowing process. Besides traditional on-site borrowing, we have gradually introduced interlibrary loan and book request services. Notably, in 2019, we further enhanced the book request service by introducing the option to reserve books that are available on the shelves, expanding beyond books currently on loan. These enhancements ensure that users receive prompt responses within a single working day, saving valuable time. With a steadfast dedication to providing a flexible and user-friendly borrowing environment, we aim to empower every library user to enjoy efficient and convenient services.

显著提升服务效率，为读者提供更高效的图书馆体验

Revolutionizing Library Services: A Seamless and Efficient User Experience

图书馆于2018年引进超高频RFID书籍管理设备和模式，并增加了自助服务设备和管理机制，实现了对不同类型书籍的差异化管理。目前，馆内设有3台自助借书机和2台自助还书机，极大地提高了流通效率。通过智能化的管理系统，图书馆实现了对各类文献资源的精细化管理，从而提高了服务的效率和质量。此外，通过线上服务的优化，图书馆将流通及缴费系统整合到大学企业微信中，极大地方便了读者处理图书馆相关事务的线上远程操作。

In 2018, the Library embarked on a transformative journey by introducing cutting-edge ultra-high-frequency RFID book management devices and systems. This innovative approach paved the way for implementing self-service equipment and management mechanisms, revolutionizing how different types of books are managed. Presently, the Library boasts three state-of-the-art self-service book-borrowing machines and two convenient self-service book-returning machines, significantly boosting circulation efficiency. Leveraging an intelligent management system, the Library has achieved a new level of precision in managing its diverse literature resources. This refined approach enhances service efficiency and elevates the overall quality of the Library experience. Additionally, the Library has embraced the power of online services, streamlining operations by seamlessly integrating circulation and payment systems into the University's enterprise WeChat platform. This strategic optimization enables users to handle various library-related tasks through convenient remote online operations effortlessly. By embracing these advancements, the Library is committed to delivering an unparalleled user experience, where efficiency, convenience, and quality converge to empower users in their quest for knowledge and discovery.

Elevating Consultation Services: Intelligent Support for Swift and Accurate Assistance

图书馆在不断发展的过程中，积极扩展咨询服务的渠道。例如，在2019年引入了FAQ自助查询系统，并在2020年推出了LibChat线上问答系统。这些智能化工具使读者能够随时随地获取所需的信息和帮助。不论是关于图书馆的开放时间、借阅规则，还是特定文献的查询，读者都能够得到快速而准确的答复。这些智能化升级的咨询服务为读者提供了便捷的途径，确保他们能够获得所需的支持和指导。

In its continuous pursuit of progress, the Library proactively expands the range of consultation services available to users. In 2019, the introduction of a self-service FAQ query system marked a significant milestone, followed by the LibChat online Q&A system launch in 2020. These innovative and intelligent tools empower users to access the information and assistance they require at their convenience, regardless of time or location. Whether users seek guidance on library operating hours, borrowing policies, or conducting specific literature searches, they can expect prompt and precise responses. These intelligent upgrades in consultation services offer users a seamless and hassle-free experience, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance they seek. With these advancements, the Library is committed to providing an enhanced user experience, where intelligent systems and expert assistance converge to deliver efficient and accurate responses, catering to the unique needs of every individual.

In recent years, the Library has dedicated itself to supporting the University's research development and providing essential assistance to foster the growth of each academic faculty. In pursuit of this goal, the Library has continuously explored diverse service models and elevated service quality, aiming to provide comprehensive support for the institution's professional advancement. Through the implementation of subject librarians and the provision of specialized consultation and development services, the Library strives to offer enhanced disciplinary support, catering to the specific needs of library users in teaching and research. Subject librarians are meticulously classified based on disciplines, ensuring that each academic faculty is equipped with dedicated professionals possessing relevant expertise. As of March 2024, the Library has appointed subject liaison librarians to four faculties: the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Management and Economics, the School of Science and Engineering, and the School of Data Science. These subject librarians are wholeheartedly committed to delivering professional consultation and resource development services to faculty members and students, thereby supporting disciplinary advancement and meeting teaching and research requirements. These endeavours are driven by the Library's aim to propel the University's academic progress and foster knowledge innovation. By creating a dynamic learning environment enriched with abundant resources and fostering a culture of creativity, the Library strives to empower faculty and students alike, facilitating their intellectual pursuits and contributing to the University's ongoing success.

服务研究报奖需求

Supporting Research Excellence: Fulfilling Research Award Application Needs

为了满足各学院科研人员在申报各类科研奖项时的需求，图书馆提供文献收录与引用证明服务。为了提高服务效率并更好地为读者提供服务，图书馆在2022年引入了查收查引服务平台。截至2024年3月，图书馆已经为约500位科研人员提供了1万篇文章的检索证明服务。这些举措旨在支持科研人员的学术成就展示和奖项申报，进一步提升图书馆的服务质量。

The Library is committed to meeting the needs of research faculty across diverse academic faculties when they apply for research awards. The Library introduced a literature indexing and citation verification service platform in 2022 to enhance service efficiency and better serve users. As of March 2024, the Library has provided indexing verification services for approximately 10,000 articles to around 500 researchers. These initiatives aim to support researchers in showcasing their academic achievements and facilitating their award applications, further elevating the quality of services the Library provides.

Enhancing Library Support: Personalized Subject Consultation Services

为了解决读者在使用图书馆学科服务过程中遇到的各种问题，学科服务部馆员从2019年开始提供一对一咨询服务。这项服务旨在帮助读者解决他们在学科研究中遇到的困惑和难题。通过与馆员进行个人会面或在线交流，读者可以得到专业的指导和建议，以更好地利用图书馆资源，开展学科研究。这一举措旨在增强读者对图书馆专业性的认知，并提升他们在学术研究中的效率和成果。

In order to cater to the diverse inquiries and challenges faced by library users when utilizing the Library's subject services, the Subject Services Department has been providing one-on-one consultation services since 2019. These services are designed to assist users in resolving any confusion or difficulties encountered during their subject research endeavours. Whether through face-to-face meetings or online communication, users have the opportunity to receive professional guidance and advice from librarians, enabling them to maximize the utilization of library resources and excel in their subject research pursuits. By offering these personalized consultation services, the Library aims to deepen users' awareness of the Library's expertise, thereby enhancing their efficiency and overall outcomes in academic research.

Empowering Scholarly Publishing: Expanding Support Services

2023年期间，图书馆组织了学者与著名出版社，如Nature子刊、Taylor & Francis/Routledge图书等编辑进行咨询交流，为学者在发表文章和出版方面提供支持。这一举措旨在帮助学者了解出版流程和标准，并提供专业建议，以提高他们的发文和出版成功率。通过与这些著名出版社的编辑进行密切合作，图书馆为学者提供了更广阔的出版机会和资源，促进了他们的学术成就和知识传播。

In 2023, the Library orchestrated consultations and fruitful exchanges between scholars and esteemed publishers, including Nature journals, Taylor & Francis/Routledge books, and others, to support scholars in their article publication and publishing endeavours. This initiative aims to help scholars comprehend the intricacies of the publishing process and industry standards while offering professional advice to elevate their success rates in article publication and publishing. Through close collaboration with these distinguished publishers, the Library opens doors to broader publishing opportunities and invaluable resources, empowering scholars to excel in their academic achievements and contribute to disseminating knowledge.

建设机构知识库

Establishing an Institutional Knowledge Repository

自2019年起，图书馆开始着手搭建一个机构知识库平台，用于存储学校的科研成果，并进行了一系列前期调研工作。2022年，博文阁（机构知识库）正式上线，平台由两大板块组成，分别是正式出版的学术成果和博硕士的学位论文库。截至2024年3月，该平台已经收录了5157条科研成果，并且累计浏览量达到112万次。当前，该平台正计划进行持续的改造和升级，以更好地满足我校科研需求，并提供更优质的服务。

Since 2019, the Library has been actively developing an institutional knowledge repository platform to preserve and showcase the University's research accomplishments, conducting comprehensive preliminary investigations. In 2022, the University Knowledge Hub (known as "Bowen Ge" in Chinese) was officially launched, encompassing two primary sections: a curated collection of formally published academic achievements and a comprehensive repository of master's and doctoral theses. As of March 2024, the platform has successfully indexed 5,157 research outputs, amassing an impressive cumulative view count of 1.12 million. Presently, the platform is undergoing continuous enhancements and upgrades to effectively meet the evolving research needs of our University while delivering exceptional, high-quality services.

Over the past decade, the Library of CUHK-Shenzhen has made remarkable progress by implementing the subject librarian system and appointing subject librarians with specialized backgrounds to each School. As of March 2024, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Management and Economics, School of Science and Engineering, and School of Data Science have all benefited from the inclusion of dedicated subject librarians. These librarians are fully committed to providing professional subject consultation and resource development services to library users, including faculty and students, effectively meeting their research and teaching resource needs. Since the establishment of the subject services department, the Library has remained dedicated to enhancing related services and actively advancing subject resource development. To achieve this, the Library has implemented a range of initiatives, including subject service navigation, decision support, information literacy services, and teaching and Course Reserve support.

为帮助读者更好地掌握信息素养技能，提高他们的科研能力和学术经验，图书馆采取了多种策略和举措来提升为读者提供得服务和培训。

To assist library users in enhancing their information literacy skills, research capabilities, and academic experiences, the Library has implemented various strategies and measures to enhance the services and training provided to library users.

Enhancing Information Literacy: Empowering Library Users Through Training

自建校初期开始，图书馆就为读者提供信息素养技能培训，内容涵盖学术写作、学术信息检索和图书馆资源概况等领域。为了更好地传达这些知识，图书馆还制作了工作坊视频，向读者介绍图书馆内不同的学科资源，并指导他们如何在教学和研究过程中充分利用这些资源。这些视频不仅方便读者通过访问图书馆网站主页直接观看，也为读者提供了更便捷的学习途径。此外，在2023至2024学年期间，图书馆进一步探索和开展了提升科研技能的进阶版图书馆工作坊，涵盖了数字人文和检索工具使用等主题，旨在帮助读者进一步提升科研能力。

Since its early establishment, the Library has been dedicated to providing library users with training in information literacy skills. The training encompasses essential areas such as academic writing, academic information retrieval, and an overview of library resources. To effectively convey this knowledge, the Library has developed workshop videos that introduce users to diverse subject resources within the Library and offer guidance on maximizing their utilization for teaching and research. These videos are easily accessible through the Library's website homepage, providing users with a convenient and accessible learning experience. Moreover, during the 2023-2024 academic year, the Library has expanded its efforts by offering advanced versions of workshops that focus on enhancing research skills. These workshops delve into topics such as digital humanities and the effective use of retrieval tools, aiming to empower users further and enhance their research capabilities.

提升学生读者的信息资源获取能力，持续开展多种形式的培训

Empowering Library Users through Information Retrieval Training

图书馆注重培养新生的信息素养，因此特别关注开展针对不同学院新生的培训课程。此外，为了增加读者的参与度，图书馆还积极探索新的培训形式。例如，在2020年6至7月期间，图书馆举办了英语夏令营活动，旨在提高参与者的语言能力。此外，在2023至2024学年迎新季期间，图书馆组织了面向新生读者的生动有趣的主题剧本杀培训。

The Library is strongly committed to enhancing the information retrieval capabilities of library users and consistently offers various forms of training. Special emphasis is placed on nurturing the information literacy skills of incoming students, resulting in the development of tailor-made training courses for different Schools. Furthermore, the Library actively explores new training formats to enhance user engagement. For example, in June and July of 2020, the Library organised an English summer camp to improve participants' language skills. Additionally, during the 2023-2024 academic year orientation, interactive and captivating training sessions were specifically designed for incoming library users.

Enriching the Academic Experience of Library Users through Academic Lectures

图书馆邀请教授、学者或其他文化名人举办学术讲座，以丰富读者的学术经验。彭永昌教授、刘冠岩教授、黄永顺教授，郑百重教授、朱熹教授和诗人孙文波等嘉宾曾为广大读者带来过精彩的专题讲座，涵盖了华夏文明、哲学巨擎劳思光先生的《新编中国哲学史》、诗歌词律、牛顿力学和以太模型、当代诗以及乾隆题诗和中国书画等主题，深受读者喜爱。

The Library invites professors, scholars, and other cultural figures to hold academic lectures, aiming to enrich the academic experience of library users. Distinguished guests such as Prof Peng Yongchang, Prof Liu Kuan-Yen, Prof Wong Wing Shun, Prof. Zheng Baizhong, Prof. Zhu Xi, and poet Sun Wenbo, have delivered fascinating lectures covering a wide range of topics. These topics include Huaxia civilization, the groundbreaking book by Sze-Kwang LAO, poetic forms and rhythms, Newtonian mechanics and ether models, contemporary poetry, as well as Qianlong's poetic inscriptions and Chinese calligraphy and painting. Library users have well-received these lectures and have greatly contributed to their intellectual enrichment.

The Library, a beacon of wisdom, fuels academic exploration and intellectual enlightenment. From the Philip Wong Yu-hong & Anita Leung Fung-yee Library to the University Library, let us celebrate the achievements of the past and embrace the unfolding future.

香港中文大学（深圳）图书馆是一所专业的学术图书馆，在大学的教学和科研支持中扮演着重要角色。为了与大学的专业设置相协调，图书馆建立了学科馆员制度，并为每个学院配备具备相关专业背景的学科馆员，以提供专业的学科咨询和建设服务。截至2024年3月，人文社科学院、经管学院、理工学院和数据科学学院均已配备了专属的学科联络馆员，以满足学科资源、教学和科研的需求。为了满足读者在不同学科领域的信息资源需求并提供更专业化的服务，图书馆采取了学科服务馆员按学科分类的措施。这种分类使得图书馆能够为读者提供高质量的学科咨询，并满足学校教学和科研相关的学科资源需求。自学科服务部成立以来，图书馆致力于完善相关服务并积极推进学科资源建设，包括学科服务导航、决策支持、信息素养服务和教学教参支持等方面的工作。

The Library of CUHK-Shenzhen is a professional academic library that plays a crucial role in supporting the University's teaching and research activities. To align with the University's objectives, the Library has implemented a subject librarian system, assigning librarians with relevant professional backgrounds to each school. These subject librarians offer specialized consultation and development services in their respective fields. As of March 2024, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Management and Economics, the School of Science and Engineering, and the School of Data Science have all benefited from having dedicated subject liaison librarians. Their presence caters to the specific needs of these schools in terms of subject resources, teaching, and research support. In order to effectively address the diverse information requirements of library users across different subject areas and provide more tailored services, the Library has implemented a classification system for subject service librarians based on disciplines. This classification allows the Library to deliver high-quality subject consultations and meet the demands for subject-specific resources related to teaching and research. Since the establishment of the subject services team, the Library has been dedicated to enhancing its services and actively promoting the development of subject resources. This includes efforts in LibGuides, decision support, information literacy services, as well as teaching and reference support.

完善学科资源服务体系建设

Improving the Construction of Subject Resource Service System

在2014至2015年期间，香港中文大学（深圳）图书馆为当时仅有的三个学院提供了共计12门课程的42本教学参考书服务。图书馆还定期汇总电子资源使用报告和试用报告，以了解和评估这些资源的使用情况。同时，学科馆员积极收集来自读者的各类资源需求，包括荐购请求和与教学课程相关的教参需求。为满足教学和学习需求，图书馆制作了专门针对各个学科课程的电子教参，帮助师生更便捷地获取所需信息。

From 2014 to 2015, the Library of CUHK-Shenzhen offered 42 reserve books for 12 courses to the three existing schools. Additionally, the Library regularly compiled reports on the usage and trial of electronic resources to gain insights into their usage patterns and assess their effectiveness. Concurrently, subject librarians actively gathered a variety of resource demands from library users, including purchase recommendations and reference needs related to teaching. To cater to teaching and learning requirements, the Library developed subject-specific electronic course reserve materials tailored to each course, facilitating convenient access to the necessary information for faculty and students.

为了与大学的学科专业发展规划相协调，图书馆定期与学院老师进行沟通，科学合理地改善馆藏结构，逐步形成具有香港中文大学（深圳）学科专业特色的综合性藏书体系和电子信息资源体系。这种合作与沟通有助于确保图书馆的资源能够更好地满足学院的学科需求。

To align with the University's discipline and professional development plan, the Library maintains regular communication with faculty members to enhance the collection structure systematically and effectively. Over time, this has resulted in establishing a comprehensive collection system and electronic information resource system that embody the unique characteristics of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. Such collaborative efforts and communication play a vital role in ensuring that the library's resources are better suited to meet the specific discipline needs of the schools.

在2023年，图书馆审核并查重了学院师生提交的荐购图书，共计超过900册，并处理了300余册教参书籍，充分保障了各个院系在相关学科资源方面的需求。这一工作的开展为师生提供了丰富的学术资源，促进了教学和研究的发展。

In 2023, the Library conducted a thorough review and evaluation of recommended books submitted by faculty and students, resulting in a collection of over 900 volumes. Furthermore, the Library processed more than 300 volumes of course reserve books, successfully fulfilling the discipline-specific resource requirements of various departments. This diligent effort ensures that library users have access to a wealth of academic resources, thereby fostering the advancement of teaching and research endeavours.

打通学科文献“供”“需”渠道

Establishing Effective Channels for Discipline Literature "Supply" and "Demand"

在2016至2017学年期间，为了进一步提升图书馆的学科文献服务并建立一个良好的“需求”与“服务”渠道，学科馆员积极向大学各专业教授及讲师征求他们对图书馆文献资源建设的意见与建议。通过收集并分析了100余份电子资源需求和反馈，图书馆有针对性地进行了资源的购置。这次尝试取得了显著的资源建设效果，并随后形成了后续的常态服务模式。

In the 2016-2017 academic year, a concerted effort was made to improve the discipline literature services offered by the Library and establish an effective channel for "demand" and "service." Subject librarians proactively engaged professors and lecturers from diverse disciplines, seeking their valuable opinions and suggestions regarding the development of literature resources. Through the careful collection and analysis of over 100 feedback and requests for electronic resources, the Library strategically acquired materials that precisely catered to the identified needs. This initiative produced remarkable outcomes in resource development and laid the groundwork for a sustainable service model.

这一模式的建立使得图书馆能更加准确地满足师生对学科文献资源的需求，并持续提升学科服务的质量。由于与专业教授和讲师的密切合作，图书馆能够更好地了解学术界对文献资源的需求，为师生提供更有针对性的支持和资源。这一举措进一步体现了图书馆在学术资源建设方面的重要性，并为学校的教学和研究提供了重要支持。在此基础上，图书馆不断改进服务方式，加强与读者的沟通，持续收集和分析读者反馈，以进一步提高图书馆的资源建设和服务水平。这种合作模式的建立使得图书馆能够更好地满足读者的需求，并为学校的教学、研究和学术发展提供了有力支持。

The establishment of this model enables the Library to accurately meet the literature resource needs of library users while continually improving the quality of discipline-specific services. Through close collaboration with faculties, the Library better understands the academic community's requirements for literature resources, enabling it to provide more targeted support and resources to library users. This initiative further underscores the Library's importance in academic resource development and its significant contribution to the University's teaching and research activities. Building on this foundation, the Library continuously improves its service approach, strengthens communication with library users, and consistently collects and analyzes user feedback to further enhance the Library's resource development and service levels. The establishment of this collaborative model enables the Library to meet the needs of its users better and provide strong support for the University's teaching, research, and academic development.

引入学科资源导航

Introduction of LibGuides

2018年6月，根据香港中文大学（深圳）的学科特点、文献资源状况及未来学科发展需求，图书馆推出了LibGuides学科导航平台。该平台整合了不同学科主题的各类资源，包括本馆资源和高质量的网络资源等，旨在为教学、学习和研究提供有效的学科导航服务。

In June 2018, the Library introduced the LibGuides discipline navigation platform, taking into account the disciplinary characteristics, literature resource status, and future development needs of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. This platform seamlessly integrates a wide range of resources related to disciplinary themes, encompassing both in-house holdings and high-quality online resources. Its primary objective is to offer efficient discipline navigation services for teaching, learning, and research purposes.

截至2024年3月，图书馆已通过LibGuides平台发布了共计400个主题、学科和课程指南。这些指南为师生提供了便捷的资源导航，帮助他们快速定位与所需学科相关的资源。通过LibGuides平台，图书馆能够更加全面地展示和推广馆藏资源，同时提供与学科和课程相关的专业指导和支持。

Until March 2024, the Library has released 400 guides on the LibGuides platform, encompassing a diverse range of subjects, disciplines, and courses. These guides are a convenient resource navigation tool for faculty and students, enabling them to locate discipline-specific resources swiftly. Through the LibGuides platform, the Library effectively showcases and promotes its extensive collection of resources while offering expert guidance and support tailored to specific disciplines and courses.

这一举措进一步提升了图书馆的学科服务水平，使得师生能够更加便利地获取所需的学术资源，加强了学校教学和研究的支持体系。图书馆将继续扩充和更新LibGuides平台的内容，以满足不断变化的学科需求，为学校的学术发展提供持续的支持。

This initiative significantly enriches the Library's discipline-specific services, facilitating convenient access to academic resources for library users, and bolstering the University's support system for teaching and research. The Library remains committed to expanding and updating the content on the LibGuides platform to meet the evolving needs of various disciplines, thereby ensuring continuous support for the university's academic development.

With the advancements of the technological revolution and industrial transformation, human society is rapidly entering the digital age. In this era, academic libraries assume a vital role as repositories of cutting-edge resources, offering indispensable knowledge support and fostering an environment of innovation for the academic community and researchers. Consequently, the acquisition of electronic resources has progressively become a pivotal component of the procurement initiatives at the Library of CUHK-Shenzhen, complementing the traditional realm of printed books.

在过去的十年间，香港中文大学（深圳）图书馆从2014年的13个数据库，已逐渐发展至2023年的198个（2024年的数据库仍在采购过程中）。在这一发展中，图书馆积极与大学各学院开展了多次讨论交流，也就读者需求、科研教学需求与现实情况相结合，进行了多角度、综合性的电子资源采购策略制定和更新。

In the past decade, the Library of CUHK-Shenzhen has witnessed a steady expansion of its database collection, with the number increasing from 13 databases in 2014 to 198 databases in 2023 (with ongoing procurement for 2024). During this period of growth, the Library has actively collaborated with different academic faculties within the University, taking into account user demands, research and teaching requirements, and real-world considerations. This proactive approach has led to the development of comprehensive and multidimensional strategies for procuring and updating electronic resources.

此外，图书馆引入了具有国际先进水平的ALMA图书馆云端管理集成系统以及PRIMO资源统一检索平台，从而实现了对纸本和电子馆藏文献的平台统一管理。

Furthermore, the Library has adopted the cutting-edge ALMA Library Management System and the PRIMO discovery search tool, both recognized for their international excellence. This integration has successfully enabled the unified management of physical and electronic library collections on a single platform.

当读者有资源查找需求时，可以在图书馆网站的检索栏中输入所需资源的关键词，点击"SEARCH"后即可直接使用PRIMO资源检索平台来获取结果。此外，为了方便读者快速访问特定数据库进行检索，图书馆制作了已购电子数据库列表。读者只需通过网站目录中的"E-resources"选项，即可进入电子资源列表，在此处可以找到所有已购数据库的链接入口，满足快速访问相关数据库的需求。

When library users have a need to search for resources, they can effortlessly enter the keywords of their desired resources in the search bar on the Library's website and click "SEARCH" to directly access the results using the PRIMO discovery search tool. Moreover, to expedite access to specific databases for searching, the Library has curated a comprehensive list of purchased electronic databases. Users can conveniently navigate to the "E-resources" option in the website's directory, where they will find links to all the acquired databases, enabling them to access the relevant databases they require promptly.

正如上一篇《图书馆十年纸本馆藏发展回忆》推文中所提到的，图书馆的文献采购遵循一定的官方流程。在读者提出采购需求后，需要进行专业评估后方可进入采购流程。然而，对于那些急需单本书籍或单篇文章的读者来说，荐购服务并不是最佳的解决方案。

As mentioned in the previous post, the Library's literature procurement follows an official process. After receiving a purchase request from a user, a professional evaluation is conducted before proceeding with the procurement process. However, for users in urgent need of a single book or article, the recommendation service may not be the most optimal solution.

为了满足这类读者的需求，大学图书馆纳入了CALIS（中国高等教育文献保障系统）、CASHL（中国高校人文社会科学文献中心）和深圳文献港，从而实现了与系统内其他成员馆之间的馆际互借和文献传递目标。这一举措进一步促进了学术资源共享和学术交流。与传统的纸质资源相比，电子资源不受副本和空间的限制，更容易实现实体间的资源共享和互动，也为跨区域之间的资源合作提供了便利。

To cater to the needs of such users, the Library has integrated CALIS (China Academic Library & Information System), CASHL (China Academic Social Sciences and Humanities Library) and Shenzhen Literature Port. This integration allows for interlibrary loans and document delivery among member libraries within the system, fostering academic resource sharing and scholarly exchange. Electronic resources, unlike traditional print resources, are not constrained by copies or physical space, making it easier to facilitate resource sharing and collaboration between entities. Additionally, they provide a convenient platform for resource collaboration across different regions.

除了数据库资源，图书馆还采购了大量的电子图书资源。从2014年建校之初到2024年建校十周年，图书馆的电子图书总量已达近200万册，其中买断型电子书经历了从仅有32本电子图书到超过24万7千本的巨大增长。随着大学学科和课程的不断增加，图书馆的资源将持续丰富和扩充，包括电子图书、纸本图书、报纸、期刊和数据库等。图书馆致力于满足学术需求，持续更新和扩展馆藏，以支持校内读者在学习、科研和教学活动中的需求。

In addition to database resources, the Library has acquired a substantial number of electronic book resources. From its inception in 2014 to its tenth anniversary in 2024, the Library's collection of electronic books has grown to nearly 2 million volumes. Notably, the collection of perpetual access electronic books has experienced tremendous growth, expanding from a mere 32 titles to over 247,000 titles. As the University's academic disciplines and courses continue to expand, the Library's resources will undergo continuous enrichment and expansion. This comprehensive collection encompasses electronic books, print books, newspapers, journals, databases, and more. The Library remains dedicated to meeting the academic needs of its users by actively updating and expanding its collection to support their learning, research, and teaching activities.
