Course Description

The course is to study the fundamental multimedia concepts. Topics include multimedia data representation and operation, multimedia data compression, JPEG and MPEG compression standards, multimedia communications, and multimedia system. In this course, students will learn the principles of multimedia technologies, and will gain hands-on experience in applying various medias in the application.
