In the glorious journey of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, time flows while the essence of books endures. Over the past decade, this institution has nurtured countless students and fostered the advancement of knowledge. 自建校十年以来,香港中文大学(深圳)图书馆一直致力于为读者提供完善的读者服务。这些服务主要包括纸本文献借阅、基础电子资源导航、基础读者咨询、纸本及空间管理和技术支持以及书籍书架管理等,它们是图书馆的核心功能,也是图书馆与读者之间紧密联系的桥梁之一。随着时代的变化和技术的发展,图书馆的基础服务经历了一系列的创新和优化。我们始终坚持以读者为中心,不断探索如何更好地满足他们日益增长的信息需求,持续为创造一个舒适、高效、多样化的学习研究和交流空间而努力。
Since its establishment a decade ago, the Library of CUHK-Shenzhen has remained dedicated to providing comprehensive user services. These services primarily encompass borrowing physical documents, navigating basic electronic resources, offering basic user consultations, managing physical resources and spaces, providing technical support, and overseeing bookshelf management. These core functions serve as a vital bridge between the Library and its users. As time progresses and technology advances, the Library's fundamental services have undergone a series of innovative and optimized changes. We prioritize our users and continuously explore ways to meet their ever-growing information needs better. Our unwavering goal is to create a comfortable, efficient, diverse learning, research, and communication space.
全面优化借阅流程,为读者创造更便捷的服务体验
Enhancing the Borrowing Process: Creating a Convenient Service Experience for Library Users
图书馆在日常服务读者的过程中,持续改进和简化借阅流程。除了传统的现场借阅,还逐步推出馆际互借服务和预约取书服务。其中,在2019年,图书馆进一步优化了预约取书服务,在已有的在借状态图书预约服务之上,增设了可预约在架图书的服务。这些改进措施确保读者提出需求后,能够在一个工作日内得到回复,极大地节省了他们宝贵的时间。图书馆致力于打造一个灵活且人性化的借阅环境,让每位读者都能享受高效和便捷的服务。
In our daily commitment to serving library users, we strive to improve and continuously simplify the borrowing process. Besides traditional on-site borrowing, we have gradually introduced interlibrary loan and book request services. Notably, in 2019, we further enhanced the book request service by introducing the option to reserve books that are available on the shelves, expanding beyond books currently on loan. These enhancements ensure that users receive prompt responses within a single working day, saving valuable time. With a steadfast dedication to providing a flexible and user-friendly borrowing environment, we aim to empower every library user to enjoy efficient and convenient services.
显著提升服务效率,为读者提供更高效的图书馆体验
Revolutionizing Library Services: A Seamless and Efficient User Experience
图书馆于2018年引进超高频RFID书籍管理设备和模式,并增加了自助服务设备和管理机制,实现了对不同类型书籍的差异化管理。目前,馆内设有3台自助借书机和2台自助还书机,极大地提高了流通效率。通过智能化的管理系统,图书馆实现了对各类文献资源的精细化管理,从而提高了服务的效率和质量。此外,通过线上服务的优化,图书馆将流通及缴费系统整合到大学企业微信中,极大地方便了读者处理图书馆相关事务的线上远程操作。
In 2018, the Library embarked on a transformative journey by introducing cutting-edge ultra-high-frequency RFID book management devices and systems. This innovative approach paved the way for implementing self-service equipment and management mechanisms, revolutionizing how different types of books are managed. Presently, the Library boasts three state-of-the-art self-service book-borrowing machines and two convenient self-service book-returning machines, significantly boosting circulation efficiency. Leveraging an intelligent management system, the Library has achieved a new level of precision in managing its diverse literature resources. This refined approach enhances service efficiency and elevates the overall quality of the Library experience. Additionally, the Library has embraced the power of online services, streamlining operations by seamlessly integrating circulation and payment systems into the University's enterprise WeChat platform. This strategic optimization enables users to handle various library-related tasks through convenient remote online operations effortlessly. By embracing these advancements, the Library is committed to delivering an unparalleled user experience, where efficiency, convenience, and quality converge to empower users in their quest for knowledge and discovery.
智能化升级的咨询服务,为读者提供快速且准确的支持
Elevating Consultation Services: Intelligent Support for Swift and Accurate Assistance
图书馆在不断发展的过程中,积极扩展咨询服务的渠道。例如,在2019年引入了FAQ自助查询系统,并在2020年推出了LibChat线上问答系统。这些智能化工具使读者能够随时随地获取所需的信息和帮助。不论是关于图书馆的开放时间、借阅规则,还是特定文献的查询,读者都能够得到快速而准确的答复。这些智能化升级的咨询服务为读者提供了便捷的途径,确保他们能够获得所需的支持和指导。
In its continuous pursuit of progress, the Library proactively expands the range of consultation services available to users. In 2019, the introduction of a self-service FAQ query system marked a significant milestone, followed by the LibChat online Q&A system launch in 2020. These innovative and intelligent tools empower users to access the information and assistance they require at their convenience, regardless of time or location. Whether users seek guidance on library operating hours, borrowing policies, or conducting specific literature searches, they can expect prompt and precise responses. These intelligent upgrades in consultation services offer users a seamless and hassle-free experience, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance they seek. With these advancements, the Library is committed to providing an enhanced user experience, where intelligent systems and expert assistance converge to deliver efficient and accurate responses, catering to the unique needs of every individual.
